šŸ“Œ Project Title: StudyBuddy – Student Collaboration & Guidance Platform
šŸ”¹ Project Description

StudyBuddy is a web-based student collaboration platform designed to bridge the gap between juniors and seniors within a college ecosystem. The platform enables students to connect with suitable study partners, seek academic support, and receive career guidance from experienced peers in a structured and secure environment.

The main objective of StudyBuddy is to promote peer-to-peer learning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship among college students. Juniors can easily find seniors based on skills, subjects, or interests, while seniors can contribute by sharing notes, study roadmaps, and real-world career insights. This creates a collaborative academic culture and reduces confusion among students regarding studies, internships, and career paths.

The platform includes essential features such as user authentication, personalized student profiles, a smart search system to find study buddies, a connection and messaging system for direct communication, and a resource-sharing module for notes and learning materials. Additionally, a career guidance section allows seniors to share internship experiences, placement tips, and certification advice, helping juniors make informed decisions.

StudyBuddy is built using Flask (Python) for the backend, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript for the frontend, and SQLite as the database, making it lightweight, scalable, and beginner-friendly. Security best practices such as password hashing and session-based authentication are implemented to ensure safe user interaction.

Overall, StudyBuddy serves as a practical solution to improve academic collaboration, mentorship, and career awareness among college students, while also acting as a strong real-world project demonstrating full-stack web development skills.
