2026 World Cup Simulation & Prediction

About

This canvas builds a predictive model for the 2026 FIFA World Cup by ingesting 150+ years of international football results, computing rolling Elo ratings for all teams, training a logistic regression classifier on match outcomes (win/draw/loss), validating it against historical tournaments, and running 10,000 Monte Carlo simulations to estimate each team's championship probability. The workflow flows left-to-right from data ingestion through cleaning, Elo computation, model training, backtesting on 2022 World Cup and major tournaments, Monte Carlo simulation, and ends with an interactive odds visualization and Elo trajectory chart of top contenders.
