Zerve is an agentic data workspace built for decision-grade data work.
Modern organisations rely on analysts, data scientists, and quantitative researchers to reduce uncertainty and recommend actions. But the tools they use today were built for exploration, not operational reasoning.
Most teams still stitch together notebooks, BI tools, orchestration systems, and scripts to move from analysis to production. This fragmentation slows decision cycles and makes reasoning difficult to reproduce, audit, or operationalize.
Zerve changes this. Zerve enables teams to move from exploratory analysis to repeatable decision systems by combining:
- AI agents that execute data workflows
- Stateful execution environments
- Orchestration and reproducibility
- Deployable outputs like apps, APIs, and scheduled runs
Our early users include Tier 1 quantitative firms and advanced data teams using Zerve to power research workflows and agentic trading systems. We're a small, highly technical team building the infrastructure for the next generation of agentic decision systems.
The Role
We're hiring a Founding Growth Engineer to build Zerve's growth engine from the ground up.
This is not a traditional marketing role.
You will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and distribution — turning real workflows built on Zerve into content, demos, templates, and growth loops that drive adoption.
The right candidate is a technical storyteller and operator who can both understand complex systems and translate them into narratives that resonate with data scientists, analysts, and AI builders. You'll work closely with the founders to help define how Zerve shows up in the world as a new category of product.
What You'll Do
Build Zerve's growth engine
- Create and scale the content and distribution system that drives awareness and adoption
- Deep technical articles, workflow demos, research posts, product explainers, templates and reusable workflows
Turn real workflows into growth loops
- Translate real customer usage into tutorials, example notebooks, decision workflows, and agent templates
- These become shareable artifacts that drive product adoption
Own organic distribution
- Develop Zerve's presence across developer and data science communities
- LinkedIn / X technical discourse, newsletters and AI research ecosystems
- Build repeatable playbooks for distribution
Work directly with users
- Collaborate with early users to turn real use cases into case studies, technical walkthroughs, and benchmark reports
- Decision workflow examples and shareable content
Experiment constantly
- Run experiments across growth loops, product onboarding, content formats, and developer community engagement
- Measure what drives adoption and double down on it
What We're Looking For
Technical curiosity
- Comfortable working around data tools, AI systems, developer workflows, and technical documentation
- You don't need to be a full engineer, but you should be comfortable thinking like one
Exceptional writing ability
- You can write clear technical explanations and thoughtful essays about emerging technology
- Short and long-form content — you enjoy turning complex systems into simple narratives
Builder mindset
- You prefer building systems over running campaigns
- Comfortable shipping quickly, experimenting, and iterating based on data
Startup experience
- You've worked in a fast-moving environment where you had to build programs from scratch rather than maintain them
Nice to Have
- Experience in data science or AI tooling
- Familiarity with developer ecosystems
- Experience running technical content programs
- Experience with SEO / AI search visibility
- Interest in financial markets or quantitative systems
